The Summerlin South Little League All-Stars have become the first Nevada team to advance to the LLWS Championship game, defeating Fairfield (CT) 8-2 to capture the United States LLWS Championship.
In the LLWS Championship game, Summerlin South fell to Chinese Taipei 7-0, but come back home with their heads held high after an incredible run showcasing the talent, resilience, and competitive spirit that Southern Nevada baseball continues to produce on the national stage.
Throughout the tournament, Summerlin South consistently rose to the occasion. Whether it was timely hitting, strong pitching performances, or composed defense under pressure, the group proved it could compete with (and beat) the best teams in the country.
Four players on this Summerlin South roster (Cache Malan, Banks Mossler, Jayden Lee, and Grayson Miranda) have all spent time developing within the NYS program. Seeing them contribute on the biggest stage in youth baseball is something our entire organization takes pride in.
Nevada Youth Sports congratulates Summerlin South on an unforgettable run and a historic achievement for Nevada youth baseball, one that will continue to inspire the next generation of players across the Las Vegas valley.
