For more than a decade, Nevada Youth Sports has set the standard for youth athletic programs across the valley. We provide safe, structured, and inclusive opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels to learn, grow, and compete.

Our leagues emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating an environment where kids can thrive both on and off the field. By partnering with schools, parks, and community organizations, we bring families together and build connections that last well beyond the game. Fernando grew up playing flag football and basketball with NYS, but started playing tackle football during high school. He was part of the Elite Wildcats club squad of Las Vegas High School with NYS during Covid.

He went on to commit to San Jose State, where he started at left tackle for two seasons with the Spartans and earned honorable mention All-Mountain West honors. He transferred to Arkansas where he started two more seasons, and earned All-SEC honors both years while serving as team captain for the Razorbacks.   • And the pick is in! With the 116th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Keionte Scott, CB, Miami!

Keionte played with the Henderson Cowboys during his youth football playing days with NYS, where he was an incredible force on both sides of the ball. He started his high school career at Democracy Prep in Las Vegas before moving back home to San Diego and standing out at Helix High School.

He went the JUCO route in college, starting at Snow College and becoming a two-time JUCO All-American before transferring to Auburn. Scott played for three seasons with the Tigers, excelling as a nickelback and return specialist before transferring to Miami for his senior year.

Scott was electric for the Hurricanes, with 64 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 2 interceptions, both returned for touchdowns. His pinnacle moment was getting a 72-yard pick six against Ohio State in the CFP quarterfinal, winning the Cotton Bowl Classic Defensive MVP. Zachariah’s athleticism stood out from a young age with NYS, being an MVP finalist several times while playing with the Anthem Cougars and Fast Twitch Warriors.

He went on to continue his athletic dominance at Bishop Gorman, where he not only was a speed demon on the football field, but a phenomenal track athlete, winning the 2020-21 Gatorade Boys Track & Field Player of the Year in Nevada.

Branch was the #7 overall recruit in the 2023 class, where he committed to USC and stood out as a true freshman in the return game. He was a first-team All-American, first-team All-Pac-12 selection, and winner of the Jet Award for the nation’s best return specialist. He transferred to Georgia for his final collegiate season, where he led the team in all receiving categories and was a second-team All-SEC selection. Germie was a young phenom during his NYS days, winning an MVP award during the Fall 2014 season with the Las Vegas Cowboys. He also played with the 702 49ers, BG Gators, LV Ducks, and LV Venom in his NYS career.

He went on to become a star at Liberty High School, where he won the 2021-22 Gatorade Football Player of the Year in Nevada. He committed to Michigan State before eventually transferring to Washington and being part of the 2023 Huskies squad with fellow NYS alums Rome Odunze and Troy Fautanu that made it to the National Championship Game.

  • Join us this summer for the NYS Junior Golf Camps in partnership with Las Vegas Junior Golf Academy!

Hosted at Painted Desert Golf Club, this 6-week program runs from June 13th to July 26th (no camp on July 4th weekend) with two hour sessions on Saturdays or Sundays, and is open to youth ages 7–16.

Led by Ruston Smith, the camp offers professional instruction in key golf skills and game fundamentals. Campers will also enjoy a fun, supportive environment with games, course play, and more. ⛳️
